A Powerful Dua for the Protection of Belongings from Thieves and Robbers
Hazrat Allama Abdul Rahman Al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said that a pious man used to recite this dua very often:
اللّٰهُمَّ احْفَظْ عَلَيَّهَا مَا لَوْ حَفِظَهُ غَيْرُكَ لَضَاعَ
Translation:
O Allah! Protect my belongings. If anyone other than You were to protect them, they would surely be lost.

A Beautiful Story About the Pious Man Who Frequently Recited This Dua:
The pious man who used to recite this dua frequently once set out on a sea journey. During the journey, his travel belongings were stolen.
However, the thief brought the stolen items back to the city and left them safely in the pious man's house as a trust.
When the pious man returned home from his journey, the thief also came to return the trust.
When the pious man saw his lost belongings safely inside his own house, he said:
"Look how Allah Almighty protected our belongings. How can you deny the blessings of this dua?"
Then he said to the thief:
"May Allah reward you with goodness. You brought my belongings safely back to my home."
Hazrat Allama Abdul Rahman Safuri, the author of this book, said:
"My respected father (may Allah have mercy on him) also used to recite this dua very often."

Virtue of Reciting This Dua:
Whoever recites this dua, Allah Almighty will protect his belongings from thieves and robbers.
