Virtues of Friday night
A blessed hadith about the virtues of Friday:
Translation: It is narrated by Hazrat Abdullah bin Masoud (RA) that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said: “On every Friday night, Allah looks at His creatures three times with the eyes of mercy, and Allah (Each) of that person He forgives who does not associate anyone with Him.
(Musnad Imam-e-Azam, Chapter:42, Hadith#144)
Explanation:
In this blessed hadith, it is intended to describe the virtues of Friday night. On the night of Friday, Allah Almighty looks at His creatures three times with mercy and compassion.Seeing Allah Almighty just once with the eyes of kindness and compassion is enough to erase the sins of a sinner’s life. He does this compassion three times in the night of Friday and continues to show this grace to his creation every night of Friday. Allah alone knows how many rewards He bestows upon creation and how many sins He forgives with just one look. It was explained in clear and clear words that on this night, everyone is forgiven except polytheists.
Polytheism is a serious and unforgivable crime in Islam:
Describing a person or thing as equal to Allah in terms of His nature, attributes, commandments, names and attributes is called Polytheism. Polytheism is a serious and unpardonable crime.
There are two types of sins:
Peccadillo (Saghira)
Mortal Sin (Kabira)
It is not necessary to repent for the forgiveness of Peccadillo sins, but these Peccadillo (minor) sins are forgiven by themselves due to other good deeds.
But major sins (Mortal Sin) are not forgiven without repentance, in order to forgive them, it will be necessary for a person to repent to Allah Almighty.
And polytheism is one of the major sins (Mortal Sin), which will not be forgiven without repentance.
