Prohibition of Drinking Water in One Breath Like a Camel:
Meaning of the Hadith:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that you should not drink water in
one breath like a camel. Rather, drink it in two or three breaths. When you
start drinking, say Bismillah, and when you finish drinking and move the
vessel away from your mouth, say Alhamdulillah. Praise Allah and be
thankful to Him.

Sunnah of Drinking Water

Not Drink While Standing:
Meaning of the Hadith:
No person should drink water while
standing. If someone drinks while standing by mistake, he should vomit it out.

The beloved Prophet ﷺ drank Zamzam water while standing.

Taking
Three Breaths:
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased
with him) says that the Prophet ﷺ used to take three breaths
while drinking water.

Prohibition
of Blowing and Holding the Breath:
Meaning of the Hadith:
The beloved Prophet ﷺ prohibited blowing into the water while
drinking. A person asked, "I see some particles in the water." The
Prophet ﷺ said, "Pour out a little water."
Then he asked, "I do not become satisfied by drinking it in one go, that
is, in one breath." The Prophet ﷺ
said, "Move the cup away from your mouth and then take a breath."

Meaning of the Hadith:
It is narrated in Muslim that the beloved Prophet ﷺ used to say that drinking with breaths satisfies a person well. He prohibited breathing inside the vessel while drinking.

Mustadrak al-Hakim is that when you need to take a breath, move the vessel away
from your mouth and then take a breath.

The Prophet ﷺ said that whoever drinks something from a silver vessel, the
fire of Hell will be kindled in his stomach.

The meaning of a Hadith in Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah is that a person should divide his stomach into three parts: one part for food, the second part for water, and the third part for breathing.
