Dua to get rid of fever:

If you have fever, recite this dua seven times:

بِسْمِ اللهِ الْكَبِيرِ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ عِرْقٍ نَّعَّارٍ وَّمِنْ شَرِ حَرِّ النَّارِ

Translation:

“In the name of God the Great. I seek refuge in God the Great and Most High from the evil of every raging vein and from the evil of the heat of fire”.

 Dua to get rid of fever and treatment of fever

Method:

 If the patient cannot recite it himself, then have another pious person recite it seven times or blow on water and give it to him to drink. God willing, the fever will go away. If the fever does not go away once, do this action repeatedly.

To get rid of fever, also do this inhalation:

Recite the following verse eleven times in the morning and evening, praying for blessings eleven times at the beginning and end, and then breathe on the patient. Or the patient himself should blow on his hands and rub his hands over his entire body.

Verse:

قُلْنَا یٰنَارُ كُوْنِیْ بَرْدًا وَّ سَلٰمًا عَلٰۤى اِبْرٰهِیْمَ ۝ )سورة الانبیآء: 69(

Translation:

“We said, O fire! Be cool and peaceful for Abraham.”

 

Fever of Umm As-Sa’ib (may Allah be pleased with her)

Once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to Umm As-Sa’ib and asked her,

“O Umm As-Sa’ib, what is the matter with you that you are shivering?”

She said, “O Messenger of Allah, I have a fever. May Allah Almighty not bless this fever.” The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Do not criticize fever, for it purifies a person from sins just as fire removes all kinds of rust from iron.”

Therefore, whenever a fever occurs, one should be patient. Patience should be exercised during this time because it is also a blessing due to which a person’s sins are erased.
